BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Mid-South Conference Tennis student-athletes competed in the MSC Fall Tennis Invitational this weekend at the Warren County Tennis Facility.

Over 80 student-athletes from Campbellsville (Ky.), Cumberland (Tenn.), Cumberlands (Ky.), Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.), Georgetown (Ky.), and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) competed in separate singles and doubles brackets.

Lindsey Wilson dominated the men's singles draws, winning five of the six individual titles. Mateo Larrea, Tadeo Ramirez, Aldo Randazzo, Borja Fernandez, and David Castillo all won their respective flights. Lindsey Wilson's Lev Sholosh and Facundo Grasso reached the finals of their flight but did not compete in the title match.

In the women's singles, Cumberlands' Mahiro Hara and Lindsey Wilson's Hang Nguyen, Blanca Trillo, and Melissa Shykalova, all captured their flight titles. Lindsey Wilson's Mariangeles Mateu and Javiera Verdugo reached their respective final but did not compete in the finals.

Three men's and three women's doubles teams claimed titles during the three-day event.

In the men's doubles, Sholosh and Ramirez won the first flight doubles, while Campbellsville's Hiroma Nishikata and Temirlan Karim captured the second doubles flight. Castillo and Larrea won the third doubles flight.

Cumberlands' Hara and Rion Yanuma won the top flight in the women's doubles. Campbellsville's Evdokiia Volkova and Emma Pheiffer captured the second flight title while Cumberlands' Freya Zayzan and Chirar Montecchi won the third flight title.

All MSC teams now turn their attention to the ITA Southeast Region Tournament next week in Owensboro, Ky.
