BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Five Mid-South Conference teams are ranked in the Final NAIA Women’s Wrestling Coaches’ Top 20 Poll.
Life (Ga.) sits atop the poll with 224 points. The Running Eagles have three wrestlers ranked No. 1 in their respective weight classes. Sarah Savidge is first at 131, Latifah McBryde at 160, and Reka Busa at 180. Life has nine other grapplers ranked in their weight classes.
Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) fell one spot to No. 5 with 145 points. The Blue Raiders have 11 wrestlers ranked, led by Kamilah Brooks, who holds the No. 4 spot at 124 pounds.
Indiana Tech moved up one spot to No. 7 with 115 points. Rose Kaplan is the highest-ranked Warrior in the poll, coming in at No. 2 at 124 pounds. Indiana Tech has an additional eight wrestlers ranked.
Cumberlands (Ky.) fell six spots to No. 12. The Patriots earned 77 points in the poll. Cumberlands has seven individuals ranked, led by Saiheron Preciado-Meza who is ranked third at 180 pounds.
Campbellsville (Ky.) is down two spots to No. 17 with 53 points. The Tigers have five wrestlers ranked, led by Makennah Craft, who is second at 103 pounds.
Montreat (N.C.) and Georgetown (Ky.) are mentioned in the receiving votes section with 15 and eight points, respectively. Both Montreat and Georgetown have a pair of wrestlers ranked.
Grand View (Iowa) sits in second with 186 points, while Providence is third with 177 points. William Penn (Iowa) is slotted fourth with 166 points.
