COLUMBIA, Ky. -
Anna Krampe-Bell has been named head coach of the Lindsey Wilson archery program, athletics director Willis Pooler announced today.

Krampe-Bell takes over for Mark Elam, who announced his retirement last week. She has spent the previous six seasons competing for the Blue Raiders and has served as a graduate assistant in the program for the past three years.

"I am pleased to announce the promotion of Anna Krampe-Bell to head archery coach," Pooler said.  "We are fortunate to have someone with her ability and credentials to step in and lead our highly successful program. She has been an extremely successful coach and student-athlete during her 6 years at Lindsey Wilson University.

"Krampe-Bell knows and lives our mission and is well respected by our student-athletes," Pooler added. "She is committed to helping our student-athletes grow and develop individually on their path to graduation.  I'm looking forward to working with her in this new role."

She earned USA Archery All-American honors in 2022-23 and First All-Mid-South Conference in women's fixed pins. She captured the MSC 3D individual and mixed team championship in fixed pins in that same season. Krampe-Bell was also a member of the 2023 MSC Outdoor Fixed Pin Team Champions.

"It's an honor to step into this role and lead a program I care deeply about and have been proud to be part of for six years," Krampe-Bell said. "This program has tremendous potential, and I have high expectations for the coming seasons.

"I am committed to building on our strong foundation while fostering a culture of both family and excellence," Krampe-Bell added.  "I look forward to guiding these student-athletes and witnessing their growth not only as skilled archers but also as dedicated students and confident individuals."
