BOWLING GREEN, Ky – Cumberlands’ (Ky.) Kennedy Sumpter is the Mid-South Conference Women’s Shooter of the Week, conference officials announced on Wednesday. 
 

Kennedy Sumpter – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Sr. – Barebow – Cynthiana, Ky.

 

• Sumpter captured an individual national championship while posting a pair of podium finishes to help Cumberlands win the team national championship.
• After qualifying eighth in the women's barebow, Sumpter won six straight matches, including a 6-0 win over Muskingum's (Ohio) Carlie Ellsworth in the gold-medal match.
• She helped the Cumberlands women's barebow team to a third-place finish and the mixed barebow squad to a fifth-place finish.
