BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- The Mid-South Conference and Urban Edge Network have entered into a streaming agreement to simulcast a number of the conference's championships on both the MSC Sports Network and the UEN platform.

The agreement offers free streaming of selected Mid-South Conference tournaments and championships. Previous to the partnership, the MSC championships were streamed on the MSC Sports Network on a pay-per-view basis.

“This is a significant agreement that will enhance our championships by expanding our digital footprint on a national and global scale," Mid-South Conference Interim Commissioner Chris Wells said. "Our fans and alumni are familiar with the championship-caliber teams and student-athletes that compete in the Mid-South Conference. Now, with the help of the Urban Edge Network, everyone can witness the top-notch competition that makes our conference one of the best in the NAIA.

"I would like to thank Hardy Pelt and his incredibly talented team as we embark on this partnership that will only advance the Mid-South Conference brand," Wells added. "I would also like to thank our Council of Presidents and our Administrative Council for their vision to enter into an agreement that will only enhance our championships by increasing the visibility of the Mid-South Conference. And finally, I would like to thank the sports communicators from each of our institutions for their efforts in helping to make each championship broadcast a professional product."

Some of the championships that will be at the heart of the agreement include baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, soccer, softball, swimming, track and field, volleyball, and wrestling.

The MSC and UEN are working on plans to expand the partnership to include some regular-season contests, such as a football game of the week.

"This partnership isn't just a step forward; it's a leap into the future of sports broadcasting," Hardy L. Pelt, Founding Member and Chief Revenue Officer of UEN, said. "By amplifying the Mid-South Conference's championships on UEN’s platforms, we’re strategically positioning the NAIA to engage a broad audience like never before. Our commitment to providing content without pay walls ensures that fans, students, and alumni can easily access the heart-pounding excitement of MSC events at no cost."

The agreement begins with this fall's championships.
