BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Cumberlands' (Ky.) Charlie Muniz has been named the NAIA Baseball Player of the Year, NAIA officials announced on Wednesday.
Muniz is one of four MSC baseball student-athletes to earn NAIA All-America Team honors.
The NAIA All-America Selection Committee selected honorees.
Muniz -- who also earned first-team honors -- hit .426 this season with 36 home runs and 96 RBIs. He was two home runs away from the NAIA's single-season record. Muniz led the NAIA this season in homers and RBIs. He concluded his storied career with a collegiate baseball record 115 home runs. He also finishes his career as the NAIA career leader in hits (377) and RBIs (336).
Cumberlands' Alec Gonzalez and Kailen Hamson were named NAIA Second-Team All-Americans. Gonzalez ended the year hitting .348 with eight home runs and 69 RBIs, while Hamson posted an 11-1 record on the bump with a 2.38 earned run average.
Cumberland's (Tenn.) Carter Rost is the final MSC student-athlete to earn all-American honors. Rost finished 2025 with a 10-0 record and a 2.31 ERA to pick up third-team honors.
All four honorees also earned All Mid-South Conference honors this season.
