BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Mid-South Conference announced the 2025 MSC Baseball honors on Tuesday.

For the second consecutive season, Cumberlands' (Ky.) Charlie Muniz was named the MSC Player of the Year. Teammate Kailen Hamson earned Pitcher of the Year honors. Freed-Hardeman’s (Tenn.) Cooper Johnson earned MSC Freshman of the Year honors.

Cumberland’s (Tenn.) Ryan Hunt was voted the MSC Coach of the Year while Campbellsville’s Randy LeBleu earned Assistant Coach of the Year honors.

Muniz leads the nation with 31 home runs while leading the nation with 81 RBIs. He is batting .468 and has a slugging percentage of 1.058 which leads the nation. Muniz leads the Patriots with 50 hits as well.
 
On the mound, Hamson has compiled a 10-0 record in 64.1 innings pitched. He has an ERA of 2.24 while allowing just 19 earned runs. Hamson recorded 96 strikeouts to lead the nation. He leads the conference in wins and ERA and ranks second in strikeouts.

Johnson, pitching in his freshman season for the Lions, tallied 63 strikeouts and an ERA percentage of 4.14. He went 4-3 this season, pitching 50 innings. 

Hunt led the Phoenix to a 35-15-1 record and a 13-5 mark in conference play and the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament.

Martin helped lead the Tigers to a 30-17 record and 7-10 MSC record.
