Bowling Green, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson College is the 2024-25 MSC Men’s Tennis Conference Champions! The Blue Raiders defeated Cumberland University 4-1 to secure the title. This marked their 18th conference championship.

Lindsey Wilson gained the advantage in doubles to clinch the point advantage. In #1 doubles, the pairing of Schubert and Passoni defeated Cumberland’s Ferreira and Parada 7-6. In #2 doubles, the Blue raiders saw success as Marques and Miret Avante defeated Godoy and Kalashnikov 6-3. In #3 Doubles, the Phoenix saw success as the pairing of Meyer and Wessels, 7-5.

In singles, the Blue Raiders were dominant through much of the singles competition, only dropping one match. In #1 singles, Shubert defeated Wessels 6-4, 6-2. In #2 singles, Cumberland’s Ferreira defeated Delcanto 6-2, 6-4. In #3 singles, Lindsey Wilson’s Passoni defeated Ammar 6-3, 6-4. Finally, in #6 singles, Randazzo defeated Parada 6-3, 6-4. 

This win grants Lindsey Wilson an automatic bid to the 2025 NAIA Men’s Tennis Championships, May 13th in Mobile, Alabama.
