KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA released the 2024-25 Men’s Basketball All-American Teams on Monday. Three Men’s Basketball Athletes from the Mid-South were named as Anthony Johnson, Peyton Law, and Tae Dozier were all named.
Cumberlands’ (Ky.) Anthony Johnson earns First Team honors as Johnson was the MSC Player of the Year, helping lead the Patriots to a Regular Season Championship. Johnson scored 779 points, the most of any player in the NAIA this season. The junior averaged 23.6 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 3.4 apg, and 1.8 spg on the season, shooting 48.1% from the field and 34.5% from three.
Freed-Hardeman’s (Tenn.) Peyton Law earns First Team honors as Law helped the Lions win the MSC Tournament and took the Lions to the Semifinals. Law led the team in most statistical categories, averaging 16.2 ppg, .607% from the field, and .394% from behind the arc. He led the team with 6.7 rebounds per game while collecting 60 steals and 51 blocks.
Georgetown’s (Ky.) Tae Dozier earns Third Team honors as the Junior helped the Tigers advance to the quarterfinals. Dozier averaged 11.5 PPG, 6.6 RPG, 3.1 APG, 1.7 SPG, 1.5 BPG, and shot 59% from the field. Impressively, Dozier was able to accrue these impressive numbers coming off the bench for some of the season.
