ATLANTA, Ga. – The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association announced today the NAIA award winners for the 2024-25 season. Four Mid-South Athletes were named and one coach.
Campbellsville’s (Ky.) Lauren Lee earns WBCA First Team All-American honors. Lee comes off a dominate season after being named MSC Player of the Year, averaging 17 ppg, leading free throw shooter at .834 and 5.6 assists per game. Their Head Coach Ginger High Colvin was named as a finalist for Coach of the Year, leading to Tigers to a 28-4 season.
Bethel’s (Tenn.) Micah and Madison Hart were named as a WBCA All-American Honorable Mention. The Hart sisters led the Wildacts to a 27-8 season. Madison Hart would average 17 ppg and led the team in reboundings while her sister Micah Hart led the team in scoring with 18 ppg and led the team in steals. Micah would also earn MSC Freshman of the Year Honors this season.
Cumberlands’ (Ky.) Kassie Monday was named as a WBCA All-American Honorable Mention. The Senior helped lead the Patriots to a 26-6 record while averaging 14.6 ppg and leading the team in Assists.
Georgetown’s (Ky.) AJ Stevenson was named as a WBCA All-American Honorable Mention. The Senior helped lead the Tigers to a 22-9 season as the second leading scorer, averaging 12.9 ppg.
