All MSC Men's Basketball Teams head to Kansas, City for the 2025 Men's Basketball Championships

BOWLING GREEN, Ky – Day two of the 2025 Men’s Basketball Championships are in the books as all Mid-South Conference schools advance! 

Starting in Georgetown Ky., No. 2 seed Georgetown (Ky.) defeated No. 10 seed Saint Francis (Ind.) 81-73 (Box Score). Dre Boyd led the Tigers with 23 points as they would dominate the second half. Georgetown heads to Kansas City to play at 7 p.m. CT on March 20th against No. 6 seed Northwestern (Iowa).  

In Williamsburg, Ky., No. 4 seed Cumberlands (Ky.) defeated No. 5 seed Mobile (Ala.) 93-77 (Box Score). The Patriots hung 52 points in the second half, led by MSC Player of the Year, Anthony Johnson with 26. The Patriots head to Kansas City to play at 1 p.m. CT on March 20th against No. 1 seed Arizona Christian. 

In Henderson Tenn., No. 1 seed Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) defeated No. 9 Seed Spring Arbor (Mich.) 71-69 (Box Score). Led by their bench, as Jordan Stephens dropped 20 as the Lions won in a nailbiter. The Lions head to Kansas City to play at 1 p.m. CT on March 21st against No. 4 seed Life (Ga.).
