BOWLING GREEN, Ky – The First Round of the NAIA 2025 Men’s Basketball Championships are in the books as the Mid-South Conference saw all three teams move on to the second round.
Starting in Henderson, Tenn., MSC Tournament Champions No.1 seed Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) defeated No. 16 seed IU Southeast (Ind.) 69-57 (Box Score). The Lions will now face No. 9 seeded Spring Arbor (Mich.) Saturday.
Moving to Georgetown, Ky., No. 2 seed Georgetown (Ky.) defeated No. 15 seed LSU Shreveport (La.) 92-78 (Box Score). The Tigers will face No. 10 seed Saint Francis (Ind.) at 5 p.m. EST Saturday.
In Williamsburg, Ky. No. 4 seeded Cumberlands (Ky.) defeated No. 13 seeded Milligan (Tenn.) 85-71 (Box Score). The Patriots will now play No. 5 Seeded Mobile (Ala.) Saturday.
All three MSC teams earned hosting rights throughout the first and second rounds.
