BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Day 2 of the Mid-South Women’s Bowling Conference Championships has concluded as the field has shrunk to 2. #1 Cumberland (Tenn.) and #2 Pikeville (Ky.) remain as they will battle for the Tournament Title, at 8:00 a.m CT Saturday, February 22nd. 

The second round of the tournament saw all teams competing, first, #6 Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) defeated #7 Union (Ky.) 4-0. #5 Tennessee Wesleyan (Tenn.) defeated #8 Campbellsville (Ky.) 4-1. With these losses, both Union and Campbellsville were eliminated. #4 Cumberlands (Ky.) defeated #1 Cumberland (Tenn.) 4-3, and #2 Pikeville (Ky.) defeated #3 Midway (Ky.) 4-3.

Moving to the third round, #1 Cumberland (Tenn.) defeated #6 Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) 4-1. #2 Pikeville (Ky.) defeated #4 Cumberlands (Ky.) 4-1, and #3 Midway defeated Tennessee Wesleyan (Tenn.) 4-3. After this round, Tennessee Wesleyan (Tenn.) and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) were eliminated. 

In Round Four #1 Cumberland (Tenn.) defeated #3 Midway (Ky.) 4-2. This forced an elimination match between #1 Cumberland (Tenn.) and #4 Cumberlands (Ky.) where the Phoenix would come out on top, winning 4-1. 

This sets up the Championship match between #2 Pikeville (Ky.) vs #1 Cumberland (Tenn.) on lanes 21-22 at the Southern Lanes in Bowling Green, Ky starting at 8:00 a.m. CT.
