BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Campbellsville’s (Ky.) Milly Shakespeare and Lindsey Wilson’s (Ky.) Efua Asabel are the Mid-South Conference Women’s Soccer Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.

MSC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Milly Shakespeare – Campbellsville (Ky.) – Sr. – Goalkeeper – Plymouth, England

• Shakespeare snagged eight total saves in the Tigers’ 3-1 win over the Bethel (Tenn.) Wildcats in the MSC Tournament Quarterfinals.
• Shakespeare earns her first weekly honor of the year and of her career.

MSC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
Efua Asabel – Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) – Jr. – Forward – Cape Coast, Ghana

• Asabel scored both Blue Raider goals in their victory of the Freed-Hardeman Lions in the MSC Tournament Quarterfinals.
• Asabel earns the third weekly honor of the year and her career.
