BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bethel’s (Tenn.) Micah Hart and Campbellsville’s (Ky.) Tyra Flowers are the Mid-South Conference Women’s Basketball Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.

MSC Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Tyra Flowers – Campbellsville (Ky.) – Sr. – Forward – Winchester, Ky.

• Flowers averaged double-digit rebounds and four steals for the #3 Lady Tigers’ two wins.
• The senior’s week was highlighted by a 13-rebound, 4-steal performance against Stephens College where 8 of those 13 boards were offensive.
• Flowers earns the first weekly conference honor this season and the fourth of her career.

MSC Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Micah Hart – Bethel (Tenn.) – So. – Guard – Yorkville, Tenn.

• Hart had two double-doubles in two victories for the Bethel Wildcats.
• The sophomore averaged 21 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals, shooting 63% from the floor.
• Hart earns the first weekly honor of this season and the second of her career.
