BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Cumberlands (Ky.) captured the Mid-South Conference Women’s Golf Fall Tournament title on Tuesday at Bowling Green Country Club.
Cumberland (Tenn.) Matilda Lind earned medalist honors after finishing the tournament with a 13-over par 229 (77-77-75). Lind’s six birdies were enough to help her team secure a top three finish.
The Patriots earned the team title with help from Thanaudomkul’s final round 75. Cumberlands finished the tournament with a total score of 937 (324-306-307), edging out Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) by six shots.
Cumberland (Tenn.) finished third with a 949 while Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) finished forty-six shots behind the Phoenix. Bethel (Tenn.) and Campbellsville (Ky.) tied for a fifth-place finish, and Georgetown (Ky.) finished seventh, rounding out the team standings.
Lindsey Wilson’s Tara Laverty finished runner-up with a 230, while Cumberlands’ Ginevra Capo was third with a score of 231. Cumberlands’ Atchariya Thanaudomkul and Lindsey Wilson’s Kayla Saunders round out the individual top five, both with a 232, respectively.
The rest of the top 10 includes (6) Jasmine Points (Cumberlands), (7) Crystal Zamzow (Cumberland), (T-8) McKenzie Trautman (Cumberlands), (T-8) Lucy Labdon (Cumberland), (T-10) Zoe Phillips (Freed-Hardeman), and (T-10) Thanaporn Buakong (Lindsey Wilson).
