Kansas City, Mo.- The NAIA has released the teams advancing to the 2024 Men’s Soccer Tournament. Two Mid-South teams were selected to participate in the tournament. Both teams selected, earned host site privileges for the opening rounds.
University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) was named the overall No.5 seed in the tournament. The Patriots had a successful season, winning the MSC Tournament, and ending the season 13-2-2 and 4-2 in conference play. They will host Rio Grande (Ohio) and Bryan (Tenn.) in the first round and play the winner of that game on November 23rd.
Lindsey Wilson College (Ky.) was named the overall No.12 seed in the tournament. The Blue Raiders had a strong season as Regular Season Conference Champions and runners-up in the MSC Tournament. The Blue Raiders ended the season 9-5-3, and 5-1 in conference play. Lindsey Wilson plays host to Xavier (La.) on November 23rd.
The two MSC teams selected are on the same side and quadrant of the bracket, meaning the advancement of both teams can lead to a rematch of the Conference Tournament Championship Match.
