BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Campbellsville’s (Ky.) Malthe Schou and Freed-Hardeman’s (Tenn.) Sam Sebagabo are the Mid-South Conference Men’s Soccer Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.
MSC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Malthe Schou – Campbellsville (Ky.) – Jr. - Goalkeeper – Source, Denmark.
- Schou made five saves across 90 minutes including three first half stops that helped carry a 1-0 lead into intermission.
- He added two saves during Bethel University (Tenn.) second half pressure and kept the Tigers within one after they fell behind, positioning Campbellsville to complete its 3-2 comeback.
- Schou earns his first weekly conference honor of the season.
MSC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
Sam Sebagabo – Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) – Jr. – Forward - Swords, Ireland.
- Sebagabo helped lead the Lions to a 2-0 record last week as they won 2-0 against Andrew College (Ga.) and Point (Ga.).
- He would also have the only two goals in the 2-0 win over Point.
- Sebagabo earns his first conference weekly honor of the season.
