BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Cumberlands (Ky.) continued atop the NAIA Men’s Cross Country Coaches’ Top 25 Rating, NAIA officials announced on Thursday.

The Patriots received 528 voting points, including 17 of the 19 first-place votes.

Cumberlands captured the Indiana Wesleyan University Twilight Invitational on Sept. 4 and was the top NAIA team at the Southern Showcase last weekend.

Cumberlands returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Great Louisville Classic in Louisville, Ky.

Indiana Wesleyan and Southern Oregon are tied for No. 2 in the rating with 504 voting points. Southern Oregon received the final two first-place votes. The Master's (Calif.) is No. 4 with 449 voting points, followed by College of Idaho with 457 voting points.

The next regular-season rating is scheduled to be released on Thursday, Oct. 8.
