BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cumberlands’ (Ky.) Zachary Dean and Bethel’s (Tenn.) Luiz Antonio Costa Lima are the Mid-South Conference Men’s Soccer Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

MSC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Zachary Dean – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Gr. - Goalkeeper – Wellington, New Zealand.

• In his first two starts of the season, Dean recorded back-to-back shutouts across 180 minutes in goal, highlighted by a 1-0 win over No. 6 Georgia Gwinnett, a team averaging 2.57 goals per game.
• Dean also posted a clean sheet in Cumberlands’ 4-0 win over Georgetown (Ky.) stopping all three shots on goal he faced during the week. 
• Dean finished the two matches with a 0.00 goals-against average and a 1.000 save percentage.
• Dean earns his first weekly conference honor of the season.

MSC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
Luiz Antonio Costa Lima – Bethel (Tenn.) – Fr. – Forward - Rio Janeiro, Brasil.

• Costa Lima had both goals in Bethel’s 2-1 upset off No. 10 Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) 
• Costa Lima earns his first conference weekly honor of the season.
