BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cumberlands' (Ky.) Martin Gomez and Freed-Hardeman's (Tenn.) Adrian Mann are the Mid-South Conference Men’s Soccer Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.
MSC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Martin Gomez – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Sr. - Goalkeeper – Cali Colombia
- Gomez allowed just one goal in a top-five matchup with No. 2-ranked West Virginia Tech last week.
- He collected two saves to help the No. 4-ranked Patriots secure a 1-1 draw.
- Gomez earns the first weekly conference honor of the season.
MSC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
Adrian Mann – Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) – So. – Defender – Harrisburg, Ill.
- Mann scored twice during the week to help the Lions to a 1-0-1 record last week.
- He tallied both of his goals in an 8-1 win at Talladega (Ala.).
- Both of Mann's goals came in a seven-goal first half for Freed-Hardeman.
- Mann earns his first conference weekly honor of the season.
