COLUMBIA, Ky. – Day four of the 2026 Mid-South Conference Softball Tournament was highlighted by dominant pitching performances and a dramatic extra-inning finish at Marilyn D. Sparks Park at the Lindsey Wilson Sports Park.
No. 2 seed Cumberlands (Ky.) opened the day with a 4-0 shutout over No. 3 seed Campbellsville (Ky.), while No. 1 seed Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) closed the tournament with a 1-0 extra-inning victory over Cumberlands to secure the championship and an automatic bid to the national tournament.

Cumberlands (35-17) used a dominant pitching performance and a late offensive surge to shut out Campbellsville (31-16) 4-0.
Jessica Cord led the way in the circle, tossing a complete-game three-hitter while allowing no runs and striking out two in the shutout victory.
After five scoreless innings, Cumberlands broke through in the sixth, capitalizing on key opportunities to plate four runs. Kristen Smith delivered an RBI bunt single, while Aniyah White added a two-RBI single, and Jae Jae Phillips capped the inning with a sacrifice fly to put the game out of reach.
With the win, Cumberlands advanced to play Lindsey Wilson, while Campbellsville is eliminated.

Lindsey Wilson (40-6) relied on dominant pitching and a late-game swing to edge Cumberlands (36-17) 1-0 in an extra-inning thriller.
Kayden Murray was outstanding in the circle, tossing a complete-game two-hitter while striking out six in the shutout victory.
Both teams were locked in a scoreless duel through seven innings before Lindsey Wilson broke through in the eighth. Natalie Wandrie delivered the game-winning moment with a solo home run to center field, lifting the Blue Raiders to the win.
With the victory, Lindsey Wilson gets the automatic bid into the national tournament.
