BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cumberland (Tenn.) and Cumberlands (Ky.) are the 2026 Mid-South Conference Esports regular season champions, conference officials announced today.

Both teams tallied nine points during the four-game regular season.

Cumberland captured the championships in Overwatch 2, Rocket League, and Valorant. Cumberlands won the title in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) finished third in the standings with five points, and Bethel (Tenn.) ended in fourth with one point.

Teams are awarded points based on their finish in the four titles to determine the regular-season champion.

Cumberland won each of the three titles it competed in. The Phoenix beat Cumberlands in all three finals of Overwatch 2, Rocket League, and Valorant.

Cumberlands defeated Freed-Hardeman in the finals of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
