ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Lindsey Wilson's (Ky.) Janer Caicedo Campaz is the lone Mid-South Conference athlete to score on the first day of the NAIA Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships on Wednesday at Karl Straus Track.

Campos earned NAIA All-American status in the men's high jump, tying for sixth place with a jump of 2.03 meters (6 feet and 8 inches). The top eight individuals and ties in each event earn All-America Team honors.

For his jump, Campos scored one point for the Blue Raiders, who are tied for 19th place in the team standings.

The day was sprinkled with weather delays and postponements of the night schedule.

The second day of the championship is slated for Thursday at Karl Straus Track.
