BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Cumberlands (Ky.) and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) are ranked, and Bethel (Tenn.) and Campbellsville (Ky.) are just outside the poll in the latest NAIA Men's Golf Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, NAIA officials announced on Friday.

Lindsey Wilson is the highest-ranked MSC team at No. 11. The Blue Raiders received 337 voting points from the national raters.

Cumberlands climbed to No. 19 after picking up 191 voting points from the raters.

Bethel and Campbellsville are two of 11 teams outside the poll, but still received voting points. Campbellsville garnered 23 voting points, while Bethel received eight voting points.

Keiser (Fla.) remained atop the national poll with 498 voting points. Reinhardt (Ga.) is No. 2 with 469 points, and Oklahoma City is No. 3 with 468 points.

The next poll is scheduled to be released on Friday, April 3.

Ratings Methodology

·        The rating is rated by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences and unaffiliated groupings.

·        The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each rater rates the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place, 28 for third-place, and so on through the list.

·        The highest and lowest ratings for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) are removed. The team’s rating will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) on which the team appears.

·        Teams that receive only one point in the ballot are not considered “receiving votes”.
