BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) is the 2025-26 Mid-South Conference men's basketball regular-season champion, conference officials announced today.

The Lions (26-1, 11-0 in the MSC) wrapped up the title this past week and own a 4-1/2 game lead heading into the regular season's final week. The regular-season title is Freed-Hardeman's second. The Lions also won the title during the 2023-24 season.

Freed-Hardeman has won 23 straight games, including all 11 MSC games this season. The Lions have been dominant this season, outscoring their opponents by 25.3 points per game.

Freed-Hardeman earns the top seed in the MSC Men's Basketball Tournament and receives a bye into the semifinals. The MSC Tournament begins on Saturday, February 28, at Bowling Green Arena.

The tournament bracket will be announced on Saturday, Feb. 21, following the conclusion of the regular season.
