BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Georgetown’s (Ky.) Rebecca Kainer is selected as the Mid-South Conference Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.
Rebecca Kainer – Georgetown (Ky.) – Jr. – Bedford, Ky.
- Kainer finished the 2026 Jenna Strong Cross Country Fall Classic last week with a time of 19 minutes and 33 seconds.
- She completed the 5,000-meter race with a fourth-place finish against 129 runners.
- Kainer led the Tigers to a first-place finish against a 17-team field.
- Kainer earns her first conference recognition of the season.
