BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Cumberlands (Ky.) is the MSC representative in the NAIA Men's Golf Top 25 Poll, NAIA officials announced on Friday.

Cumberlands is ranked at No. 12, receiving 310 voting points. The Patriots opened the season with a first-place finish in both the Gibson Bay Intercollegiate and Firehawk Fall Invitational. Cumberlands also placed seventh in the Music City Collegiate on Oct. 5-6. The Patriots’ next tournament is The Club at Five Oaks Invite on Oct. 19-20 in Nashville, Tennessee. 

Bethel (Tenn.) and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) sit just outside the top 25 but still received voting points from the raters. The Blue Raiders dropped out of the top 25 from the pre-season poll. The Wildcats’ next appearance is the MSC Fall Preview on Oct. 26-27 in Bowling Green, while Lindsey Wilson joins Cumberlands at the Five Oaks Invite.  

Keiser (Fla.) remains No. 1 in the poll with 497 voting points followed by Reinhardt (Ga.) with 481 voting points and Blue Mountain Christian (Miss.) with 456 voting points.

The next poll is scheduled to be released on Friday, Oct. 30.
