Jacey Hatfield and Ashley Evans sparked the Phoenix offense with a combined five RBIs, while Karley Daughrity and Karsyn France each drove in two runs. Azaria Jones and France both homered, and Abby Chappell tallied two RBIs on a pair of hits. Madison Croxford earned the win in the circle, throwing 6.1 innings and allowing six earned runs on nine hits with three strikeouts to improve to 9-10 on the season. Cumberland advances to face Bethel (Tenn.) at 9:30 A.M. C.T. while Lindsey Wilson (23-20) drops to the elimination bracket for a must-win game against Campbellsville. Emily Reynolds led the Tigers at the plate and in the circle, going 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs while tossing a complete game with six hits allowed and two strikeouts to improve to 5-0 on the year. Jessie Daniels and Madison Reed each homered and combined for five RBIs. Campbellsville totaled 11 hits, including four for extra bases, and committed no errors in the field. Bethel’s Jaelyn Wiers and Kinsley Nichols each drove in a run during the fifth, but the Wildcats were limited to six hits overall.
