Bethel races past Georgetown in MSC Women's Basketball Quarterfinals

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. --
Fifth-seeded Bethel (Tenn.) hit 13 3-pointers and Madison Hart and Micah Hart combined for 55 points in the Wildcats' 84-58 win over fourth-seeded Georgetown (Ky.) today in the Mid-South Conference Women's Basketball Quarterfinals at Studles Financial Arena.

Bethel (21-7) advances to play top-seeded Cumberlands (Ky.) at noon CT on Monday, March 3.

The Wildcats broke open a nine-point halftime lead with a 23-point third quarter en route to the upset win. Bethel finished the game shooting 49.2 percent (32-of-65) from the field, including 13-of-28 from beyond the 3-point arc.

Micah Hart -- the MSC Women's Basketball Freshman of the Year -- scored 28 points on 12-of-16 shooting. Madison Hart added 27 points and nine rebounds in the win.

Georgetown's Trinity Knock led the Tigers with 14 points off the bench.
