DANVILLE, Ky. – The 2025 Mid-South Conference Women’s Swim & Dive Championships have concluded as the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) became the 2025 Conference Champions for the eleventh straight time! A multitude of individuals earned their championships marked with NAIA qualifications and team/personal bests.
Individually, Cumberlands (Ky.) would win their first championship of the day in the 1650 Free as Michelle Weiss would finish with a time of 17:31.47. In the 200 Yard Backstroke, Lindsey Wilson’s (K.y) Maaike Broersma would claim the championship with a time of 2:01.49. I the 100 Freestyle, Lindsey Wilson’s Kristen de Goede earned the championship with a time of 49.25.
In the 200 Breaststroke Moa Nyblom of Cumberlands would finish with a time of 1:21.85 to claim the championship. In the 200 Yard Butterfly, Cumberlands Sarah Zoellner would caim the championship with a time of 2:05.07.
In the lone Relay of the night, Lindsey Wilson would claim the championship in the 400 Freestyle Relay with a time of 3:26.34.
At the end of the Championships All-Conference award recipients were recognized as Lindsey Wilson won Assistant Coach of the Year and Head Coach of the year. Annissa Koekemoer in her first year earns the assistant honors and Alicia Kemnitz earns it in her fifteenth season.
Lindsey Wilson would also win Swimmer of the Year honors as Maaike Broersma & Kirsten de Goede took home Co-Women's Swimmer of the Year honors. Freshman Swimmer of the Year was earned by Nathalie Medina of Lindsey Wilson as well.

The finals team results for this division were Cumberlands (Ky.) in first with 933 points, Indiana Wesleyan (Ind.) in second with 638 points, Lindsey Wilson College (Ky.) in third place with 619 points, Midway University in fourth with 284 points, Shawnee State University in fifth with 257 points, and Campbellsville University in sixth with 254 points.
