BOWLING GREEN, Ky. –  Lindsey Wilson’s Ola Wyrzykowska and Luiza Goncalves and Campbellsville's Sophie Hill have been selected the Mid-South Conference Volleyball Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.

MSC Volleyball Attacker of the Week

Ola Wyrzykowska – Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) – Sr. – Outside Hitter – Wegorzewo, Poland

• Wyrzykowska led the way for the Blue Raiders with 53 kills, a .371 hitting %, and 32 digs over three matches.
• The collected 17 kills, 5.67 k/s along with 12 digs in the 3-0 sweep over Brescia.   
• Wyrzykowska followed that up with a 25 kills, 12 digs performances in the 3-1 win against Bethel.
• She closed out the week adding 11 kills and eight digs against Freed-Hardeman.
• Wyrzykowska earns her fourth weekly honor this season and the fifth of her career.

MSC Volleyball Defender of the Week
Sophie Hill – Campbellsville (Ky.) – Jr. – Middle Blocker – DuQuoin, Ill.

• Hill notched 8 blocks, and 12 kills on the week.
• The junior tallied an impressive eight blocks as the Tigers notched a 3-1 win over the Lions, which included limiting the Lions to just a .150 hitting percentage.
• She followed that up with six kills against Bethel.
• Hill earns her second weekly honor this season and of her career.

 
MSC Volleyball Setter of the Week
Luiza Goncalves – Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) – Sr. – Setter – Arapongas, Brazil

• Goncalves tallied 102 assists, averaging 11.33 assists per set, to go along with 16 kills and 12 digs across Lindsey Wilson’s three wins.
• The senior dished out 28 assists along with five kills and three digs as the Blue Raiders tallied a 3-0 win over Brescia. 
• She followed that up with 45 assists, 11.25 a/s, six kills and six digs as the Blue Raiders took down Bethel.
• Goncalves capped off her week with 29 assists, five kills, and three digs in the sweep over Freed-Hardeman.
• Goncalves earns her third weekly honor this season and the seventh of her career.
