BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Campbellsville’s (Ky.) Lainey Johnson and Georgetown’s (Ky.) Daysha Reid are the Mid-South Conference Women’s Basketball Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.

MSC Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Lainey Johnson – Campbellsville (Ky.) – Fr. – Guard – Lawrenceburg, Ky.

• Johnson led the Campbellsville Tigers with seven steals across their three wins on the week.
• The freshman also blocked a shot in each of the team’s victories over #10 Indiana Wesleyan and Johnson University.
• Johnson earns the first weekly honor of this season and of her career.

MSC Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Daysha Reid – Georgetown (Ky.) – Fr. – Guard – Portsmouth, Ohio.

• Reid averaged 34.5 points per game, leading the Tigers in scoring both games over the weekend.
• Her 36-point and nine threes-made game against Carolina (N.C.) came just one three-pointer shy of tying the Georgetown school record for threes.
• Reid earns the first weekly conference honor this season and of her career.
