Cumberland Sweeps Bethel in MSC Women's Volleyball Quarterfinals

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Fourth-seeded Cumberland (Tenn.) beat fifth-seeded Bethel (Tenn.) 3-0 today in the Mid-South Conference Women's Volleyball Quarterfinals at Bowling Green Arena.

The Phoenix (25-13) advances to face No. 1 seed Cumberlands (Ky.) in Friday's first semifinal at 3 p.m. CT.

Cumberland outhit the Wildcats (10-16) .298 to .042 during the 25-21, 25-18, 25-8 win.

Cumberland's Lila Cade led the way for the Phoenix, posting a .438 hitting percentage with just one error in 32 swings. She finished with a match-high 15 kills.

Carlee Rogers -- the 2025 MSC Women's Volleyball Freshman of the Year -- posted a triple-double with 23 assists, 11 kills, and 15 digs. Morgan Snead led the team with 24 digs.

After committing nine hitting errors in the first set, the Cumberland attack was dominant in the remainder of the match. The Phoenix committed just four errors over the two sets while hitting .357 and .500 in the second and third sets, respectively.

Bethel's Katie Pennington led the Wildcats with eight kills.
