WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – Campbellsville's (Ky.) Fiona Jolly scored a golden goal in the 93rd minute to lift the Tigers to a 2-1 overtime win over Cumberlands (Ky.) in the Mid-South Conference Women's Soccer Tournament finals tonight at the UC Soccer Complex.

Campbellsville (11-8) earns the MSC's automatic bid into the NAIA National Championship, which begins on November 20 at various sites across the NAIA. The tournament field is scheduled to be announced at 6 p.m. CT on Friday, November 14.

The tournament title is the second for the fourth-seeded Campbellsville. Both have come as underdogs for the Tigers. Campbellsville won the 2022 championship as the No. 5 seed.

The Tigers led most of the match tonight.

Campbellsville's Bethin Boyle scored the game's first goal in the eighth minute for a 1-0 lead.

Cumberlands (13-4-3) -- who outshot the Tigers 18-5 in the match -- challenged Campbellsville goalkeeper Milly Shakespeare throughout the night. Shakespeare and the Tiger defense turned away each live-action attack.

Cumberlands tied the match in the 88th minute.

Following a Campbellsville foul in the penalty area, Carola Fontan scored on a penalty kick to tie the match at 1-1.

Jolly scored on the first shot of overtime. She found the back of the net from about 25 yards out from straight-away off Boyle and Wilma Gidlof's assist for the championship.

Shakespeare finished the match with six saves.
