BOWLING GREEN, Ky. –  After posting a trio of wins on the week, Cumberlands (Ky.) swept the MSC Player of the Week honors as Brynnley Bryant, Davey Slaughter, and Savanah Jolly garnered this distinction, conference officials announced on Monday.
Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.

MSC Volleyball Attacker of the Week
Brynnley Bryant – Cumberlands (Ky.) – So. – Outside Hitter – Wilmington, OH

• Bryant led the way for the Patriots with 35 kills, a .358 hitting %, and 24 digs over three matches.
• The sophomore tallied 14 kills, 4.67 k/s, and seven digs in the Patriots 3-0 sweep over IU Southeast.
• Bryant followed that up with 11 kills, 10 digs and a trio of aces in the sweep over Freed-Hardeman.
• She closed out the week adding 10 kills and seven digs against Freed-Hardeman.
• Bryant earns her first weekly honor this season and of her career.

MSC Volleyball Defender of the Week
Davey Slaughter – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Sr. – Libero – Mount Juliet, TN

• Slaughter recorded 43 digs, 4.78 d/s, 11 assists and six aces on the week.
• The senior notched 13 digs, four assists and a pair aces in the win over IU Southeast.
• She followed that up with 17 digs and four assists in the sweep over Bethel, before chipping in 13 digs and a trio of aces against the Lions.
• Slaughter earns her third weekly honor this season and third of her career.

 
MSC Volleyball Setter of the Week
Savanah Jolly – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Jr. – Setter – Louisville, KY

• Jolly continues to lead the Patriots with 87 assists, averaging 9.67 assists per set, to go along with 21 digs across the three wins.
• The junior dished out 34 assists along with two kills and six digs as the Patriots took down IU Southeast.
• She followed that up with 27 assists, 9.0 a/s, and 11 digs as the UC swept Bethel.
• In the regular season finale, Jolly dished out 26 assists in the sweep over Freed-Hardeman to help Cumberlands close out the regular season unbeaten.
• Jolly earns her ninth weekly honor this season and the tenth of her career.
