BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cumberland’s (Tenn.) Ty Buckley and Georgetown’s (Ky.) Addesa Miller are the Mid-South Conference Women’s Basketball Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.

MSC Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Ty Buckley – Cumberland (Tenn.) – Sr. – Guard – Meridian, Miss.

• Buckley collected a double-double, putting up 13 points and 12 rebounds in the Phoenix’s win over Oakwood (Ala.).
• The senior also added three steals.
• Buckley earns the first weekly honor of this season and of her career.

MSC Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Addesa Miller – Georgetown – Fr. – Guard – Dalton, Ohio.

• Miller, in just nine minutes, had 23 points off the bench to lead Georgetown.
• She followed up that performance with 20 points and six three-pointers, shooting 11-22 from deep in the Tigers’ two wins on the week.
• Miller earns the first weekly conference honor this season and of her career.
