BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cumberland (Tenn.) and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) are the 2025 Mid-South Conference women's soccer regular season champions, conference officials announced today.
Following Saturday's play, Cumberland and Lindsey Wilson each finished with 16 points in the MSC Women's Soccer Table. The Phoenix and Blue Raiders ended conference play with 5-0-1 records.
The two teams tied 3-3 in a back-and-forth match on October 1 in Columbia. The Phoenix scored the equalizer in the 90th minute.
Cumberland earns the top seed in the tournament with the second conference tiebreaker. The Phoenix finished the regular season with a +17 goal differential in conference games -- with a four-goal maximum differential -- compared to Lindsey Wilson's +13.
The championship is Cumberland's third in the program's history and Lindsey Wilson's conference-record 20th.
The tournament bracket will be announced later tonight.
