BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cumberlands’ (Ky.) Ugne Takuseviciute has been selected as the Mid-South Conference Women’s Swimmer of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
 
Ugne Takuseviciute – Cumberlands (Ky.) – So. – Siauliai, Lithuania

• Takuseviciute post five wins with a trio of NAIA provisional cuts.
• The sophomore opened her season clocking a 5:19.44 to win the 500 free against Shawnee State.
• Takuseviciute followed that up winning both the 100 free (54.59) and the 200 free (1:58.22) in a dual meet against Lindsey Wilson.
• She also was part of UC’s 200 free relay that notched a win.
• Takuseviciute earns her first swimmer of the week honor of the season and of her career.
