BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Campbellsville's (Ky.) Carson Childress is the Mid-South Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.
Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
 
Carson Childress – Campbellsville (Ky.) – Jr. – Hodgenville, Ky.

• Childress earned medalist honors at the Gibson Bay Invitational last week.
• He posted a three-round total of 4-under par 212 (72-73-67) to win the 57-man tournament by one stroke.
• Childress' third-round 67 was the low round of the tournament.
• He began the final round in sixth place before capturing his first collegiate win.
• Childress finished the tournament with 14 birdies, including making birdie on his final three holes to win the title.
• Childress earns his first men's golfer of the week honor this season.
