Pikeville Men's Bowling claim 2025 Mid-South Regular season Championship

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Pikeville claims the Mid-South Conference Regular Season Championship in Men’s Bowling on Sunday! Competing in the last regular season event in Louisville, Ky. at the Kingpin Bowling Alley, Pikeville was able to secure their third regular season championship in a row.

Pikeville would finish the Thomas N Burris Memorial with a total team score of 5394 as their best bowler, Chris LeSueur, finished the day with an 848. The Team finished sixth overall but was enough to give them the MSC Regular Season Title, finishing 26-2 on the season.

Tennessee Wesleyan University finished the Thomas N Burris Memorial ninth with a total team score of 5228. Their best bowler Cameron Compton, finished with a 792 individually, pushing Tennessee Wesleyan to finish second in the conference with a record of 21-7.

Cumberland University finished the Thomas N Burris Memorial in an impressive third overall with a team score of 5588. Their best bowler, Jacob Ballenger, finished with a score of 854, propelling the Phoenix to third place in the conference standings at 19-9.

Campbellsville University finished fourth in the conference standings, with a record of 17-11. Campbellsville finished the Thomas N Burris Memorial with a total team score of 4836 to finish fifteenth, as their best bowler, Ambrose Shink, finished with a total of 841.

The University of the Cumberlands would finish the Thomas N Burris Memorial with a total team score of 5209, finishing in tenth. Their best bowler, Liam Mcnamara, finished with an individual total of 819, while his team would finish the conference regular season in fourth with a record of 13-15.

Midway University finished the Thomas N Burris Memorial with a total team score of 4929, finishing the event in thirteenth. Midway’s Charlie Smith would be their top bowler, finishing with 797. Midway finished in fifth for the conference standings with a record of 8-20.

Lindsey Wilson College finished the Thomas N Burris Memorial with a total team score of 4497, finishing the event in eighteenth.  This last regular season performance earned them sixth in the final conference standings, with a record of 5-23. 

Lastly, Union Commonwealth University finished the Thomas N Burris Memorial With a total team score of 4891, finishing in fourteenth place. This performance in the last conference event of the regular season earned them the seventh spot with a record of 3-25.

This marks the end of the regular season for Men’s Bowling until February 20th when the Mid-South Conference Championship is held in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
