Bowling Green, Ky.- The 2024 Mid-South JV Volleyball Tournament is in the books as Cumberland University repeated and came out on top. The all day tournament saw a plethora of competition highlighting athletes crucial to the success of their schools.   

Pool play decided the tournament bracket as all eight competing teams played with two teams winning all their matches, being Campbellsville and Lindsey Wilson. The Results in the three pool play matches are as follows: Bethel (Tenn.) 1-2, Brescia (Ky.) 0-3, Campbellsville (Ky.) 3-0, Cumberland (Tenn.) 2-1, Cumberlands (Ky.) 2-1, Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) 1-2, Georgetown (Ky.) 0-3, and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) 3-0.

The tournament portion saw Match #1 of Lindsey Wilson College vs. University of the Cumberlands, Lindsey Wilson would win 2-0. In Match #2 Campbellsville Vs. Cumberland saw Cumberland coming out with the 2-0 victory. 

The Championship Match was between Lindsey Wilson and Cumberland was a repeat of last year, almost exactly. Lindsey Wilson would take the first set, only for Cumberland to bounce back, winning the next two sets to clinch the championship 2-1.
